OBSTACLE MECHANIC

Locked Door

A locked door is bound to a specific color. Sending the key block through the matching color gate unlocks it.

How the Locked Door works

A locked door is bound to a specific color. Sending the key block through the matching color gate unlocks it.

It is one of the core obstacles you meet through the early and mid levels, usually alongside plain colored blocks and simple gates.

How to play around it

Find the key block early and clear its route, because nothing passes until the lock is released.

Like every obstacle in the game, the locked door never makes a level impossible. Every board can be finished without boosters, so if a route feels blocked, the answer is usually the order in which you clear the other colors, not the obstacle itself.

Where you meet it

The Locked Door typically starts appearing around Level 260 and stays part of the rotation from that point on. Boards that feature it become more frequent as the level numbers climb.

See it in action on the Levels 251–275 walkthrough index, or browse every mechanic on the mechanics guide.
