How the Ice works
Ice freezes a block in place. Clearing a set number of other blocks breaks the ice and frees it.
It is one of the core obstacles you meet through the early and mid levels, usually alongside plain colored blocks and simple gates.
How to play around it
Count which color you can clear fastest, then melt the ice before the board runs out of easy matches.
Like every obstacle in the game, the ice never makes a level impossible. Every board can be finished without boosters, so if a route feels blocked, the answer is usually the order in which you clear the other colors, not the obstacle itself.
Where you meet it
The Ice typically starts appearing around Level 25 and stays part of the rotation from that point on. Boards that feature it become more frequent as the level numbers climb.
